No coronavirus deaths in Cornwall in latest weekly data

No deaths related to the coronavirus were recorded in Cornwall in the latest week of Office for National Statistics information.

The latest figures from the ONS, relate to the week of July 25 and July 31, but were registered up to August 8, show no deaths having been recorded anywhere in Devon and Cornwall.

The figures relate to deaths in which COVID-19 was mentioned on the death certificate and were registered in that time period.

208 deaths have been registered in Cornwall overall.

18 of these deaths took place at home, 122 in hospitals and 68 in care homes.
