New Falmouth coffee shop serving up local delights from converted shipping container
An array of tasty locally sourced items are on the menu at Falmouth's newest coffee spot.
Old Foundry Coffee had its first official opening day in Tregoniggie Industrial Estate, Monday (7th).
Old Foundry Coffee is owned by Amelia Smith who is aiming to offer a simple menu but to a very high quality.
The shop uses Foundation Coffee from St Ives, Ann's Pasties, and Vicky's Bread for sandwiches from Helston.
All the cakes are also homemade by Amelia - who brings a wealth of catering experience having worked at Halzephron Inn Gunwalloe, and Gylly Beach Cafe.
Amelia told Nub News she is "really excited" to get started, adding:
"I was a teacher but I have always loved baking, whether it was for Gylly Beach Cafe or by myself at home. My husband is a builder and made a fleeting comment once about nobody doing coffee on the industrial estate, so I thought why not give it a go."
Old Foundry Coffee is open Monday-Friday 8:30am-2:30pm.
