The signage for the new Co-op store has been approved - the latest step as the new supermarket gets closer to opening.

In May, The Co-op has announced plans to open a new store on Cliff Road, Falmouth following a £550,000 investment that will create up to 20 local jobs.

The store will run on 100% renewable electricity and includes a bakery, Costa Coffee Express, and food-to-go.

And this week, plans were given the go-ahead with an illuminated suspended sign, inside of the window. Nonilluminated vinyl welcome text and a large wall sign.

The signage was approved with conditions concerning any obstruction, endangering, and security.

Falmouth Town Council recommended approval of the application.
