New Falmouth Art Gallery exhibition showcases works of Henry Scott Tuke
A collection of the works of artist Henry Scott Tuke are now being exhibited at Falmouth Art Gallery until 20 November.
Tuke was born in Yorkshire, but spent his childhood in Falmouth after his family moved here in 1859.
He travelled extensively around Europe and studied art in London, and eventually came back and settled down in the town in Swanpool.
He also opened his own art gallery in Falmouth with another artist called William Ayerst Ingram.
He is well-known for painting young men by the sea.
