Swashbuckling Cornwall provides stage combat training and courses to professionals and amateurs alike. They have teamed up with producer, actor, and writer Henry Autwick to put on their first Creative Networking event this year.

The event will take place at The Princess Pavilion on Tuesday the 21st of February from 19:00 PM until 21:30 PM, This will be a chance for actors, writers, dancers, directors, camera operators, prop creators, costume designers, musicians, photographers, and anyone in similar industries whether you are established or emerging to meet fellow creatives and find new opportunities.

This is a free event (the option to donate is available) and welcome to all but those under 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult.

The organisers for this event have put together some top networking tips for the event:

• Relax in knowing others in the room are feeling like you are.

• Extend a lifeline to others by asking about them.

• Listen and gather data.

• Make connections between their data and your story.

• Shape a path for them to ask questions about you

What to bring?

  • Yourself
  • business cards (if you have them)
  • A willingness to engage with others and make new connections.
