It was double gold again for Mylor Sailing School - this time at VisitEngland Awards.

Mylor Sailing & Powerboat School fought off tough competition to win double gold at the VisitEngland Awards.

The sailing school came out on top in the Accessible & Inclusive Tourism Award and Experience of the Year. The only other gold from Cornwall was Three Mile Beach Gwithian in New Tourism Business of the Year.

Mylor finished above Alton Towers Resort in the Accessible & Inclusive category.

The 19 gold award winners were announced at an evening ceremony on 8th June hosted by Clare Balding at the Library of Birmingham.

Mylor Sailing School continues its success having also won double gold at Cornwall Tourism Awards in February.

"We are proud of what we do and the memories we can make for families and hugely honoured to be recognised for our work," Mylor Sailing told Nub News after their previous gold awards.

VisitEngland Advisory Board Chair Nick de Bois CBE added: "It is wonderful to see the awards event back in person, giving us the opportunity to come together, celebrate and congratulate the best-of-the-best across England's world-class tourism industry."
