70 year old Phil from Mylor had been missing since Saturday.

The family of a pensioner who went missing over the weekend have provided a positive update in the search.

Phil, 70, from Mylor Bridge, had not been seen since Saturday (29th) when he failed to return from a trip to Asda, Penryn.

An appeal was issued on social media by Laura Ross who said the family was growing concerned for her father-in-law.

The police were called in with the search extended to Helston and Penzance.

In an update this evening, Laura revealed Phil had been found "safe and well" - with no further details.
