Falmouth was hit with multiple acts of vandalism on Saturday evening.

Police are investigating reports of severely vandalised cars in the Old Hill area.

Kerry Prynn uploaded a photo of her smashed car on Pellow Road, stating:

"This keeps happening in the area. Who keeps doing this?"

Speaking on the incident, a police spokesperson told Nub News:

"Police are investigating damage to a car parked in Pellew Road, Falmouth.

"The driver's side window was smashed on an Audi A4.

"The incident happened between 4pm and 10pm on Saturday 4th January.

"Anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious is asked to contact police via [email protected] or by phone on 101, quoting crime reference CR/001282/20."

Another car on Old Hill received the same treatment and had its window damaged.

A police spokesperson told Nub News:

"Police have been informed of criminal damage sustained to a car window on Old Hill Crescent, Falmouth, late on Saturday 4 January.

"Anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have information that could aid an investigation is asked to email [email protected] quoting crime reference CR/001145/20."

The community came together on social media to share damage to their property, with an alleged seven vehicles being a target for vandalism on Saturday.

One commenter said:

"Are they stealing things from inside or just plain reckless damage for no reason? Either way, they will get caught sooner or later!"
