Member of staff assaulted at Penryn train station

An appeal has been launched to find an individual who could help with enquiries following an assault at Penryn railway station.

An image of the man has been released today as officers launch an investigation.

At 7:20pm on Saturday 9th January, a man spat at and kicked the member of staff at the station.

A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said:

"If you recognise him, or have any information, please contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 2100001489.

"Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
