Falmouth bar Mangos, based on Church Street, have issued an apology after a video was shared online of a violent incident involving door staff over the weekend.
In the video, security staff could be seen choke holding, pushing and wrestling young women to the ground, for which the popular town drinking spot has "sincerely apologised" for.
Mangos said it has also informed the security company that they will not be using these members of staff again.
"Mangos would like to sincerely apologise for this incident, we cannot and will not condone the actions of two door staff in the footage," a line of the apology read.
Due to the violent nature of the video seeing the young women barged and tackled to the ground by male security staff, Mangos is also looking into providing a female member of security staff. However, because of "current staff shortages" this may not happen immediately.
"As soon as we can we will implement this policy," Mangos continued.
A bar spokesperson added:
"We have downloaded all the footage from our CCTV cameras including the body cameras from all door-staff and management. This is available for the police if requested. It's been a very difficult year for all of us and we want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable night out."
