The main road into Maenporth Beach is set to close next week for roadworks.
The work is being undertaken by Cormac along Maenporth Road to resurface the highway between Tuesday 16th and Tuesday 23rd November.
A road closure and diversion will be introduced between 7:30am and 5pm on a daily basis.
Cormac will have marshals on-site to support residents and businesses needing local access.
All through traffic will follow the diversions in place at all times. The road will be open as normal over the weekend.
Kevin Bryant, Cornwall Council's Head of Highways and Infrastructure, said:
"Nothing in this Order will apply to emergency services, traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained."
