The Peace Giver

He who comes far too often

judging himself only

a pleasant surprise,

he is neither here nor there

but everywhere

and in every person breathing deeply. He is shining brightly, boldly

unlike the sun

that gives and takes away these days

simultaneously and intermittently.

He is always on time

and plans visits well in advance

he is under no jurisdiction

to do anything by no one

and poses no threat.

He will go now, somewhere else

where he has heard

what all the fighting is about.

Between men and other men

who are too afraid to blow each other away

he crosses the wind

and has gigantic hands.
