A concerned Falmouth resident has got in touch with Nub News about the lack of social distancing they feel is being followed outside Mangos.

The resident, who would prefer to stay anonymous, says that Mangos "seems to be ruining it for everyone in town".

The letter reads:

To be honest, I was shocked at the complete lack of social distancing. Although there were security staff there, absolutely no effort was being taken to remind people of the situation and there were several people actually sharing cigarettes in the smoking area. I walked past on several occasions and at one point I would guess that there were as many as 50 people squashed into those 'pens'.

I live on Church Street and have to say that Mangos seems to be ruining it for everyone in town. Most premises are acting responsibly by enforcing social distancing as well as closing at a reasonable time so as not to encourage large groups to stay out late.

Add this neglectful behaviour to the regular punch-ups outside their place and Church Street is a very unpleasant place at weekends thanks to them.

Mangos have been contacted for a response.
