The latest crime figures released by police show how many crimes were committed in Falmouth, Penryn and the wider area in December 2020.

In Falmouth, around the Gyllyngvase, to Pendennis, Woodlane and the high street, there were 44 crimes. In the Penwerris and Trescobeas area, including The Moor, Pensharden and Falmouth near Hospital, there were 52 crimes.

Of the 52 crimes in the Penwerris and Trescobeas grouped area, 21 were violence and sexual offences, and 18 were anti-social behaviour and 5 were criminal damage and arson.

In Gyllyngvase, to Pendennis, Woodlane and through the high street, 16 were for anti-social behaviour, 13 for violence and sexual offences and 5 for criminal damage and arson.

In Boslowick, the figures came out at 15 crimes. In Penryn, there were 47 reported crimes, in Mylor, there were 6 crimes committed and the same number in Budock.

Of the 47 crimes in Penryn, 16 were violent and sexual offences, 14 anti-social behaviour related and 4 for theft.

Crime figures for January 2020 have not yet been released.
