Further details on the rebuild of the newly extended 74.5m My Lady E were revealed this week by Falmouth-based superyacht specialists Pendennis.

The most dramatic transformation is a 6m (20 feet) stern extension providing balance to the side profile of the yacht and modernising the appearance of the vessel.

Toby Allies, Joint MD at Pendennis said:

"Here at Pendennis, we are very proud of what's been achieved on the Lady E project. The scale and scope of the project have meant that all of our in-house specialist teams were called upon during the course of the yacht's time at the yard.

"It has been a real privilege to work with the owner's team as well as the collection of highly regarded industry contractors, to deliver her back to her owners for them to enjoy with their guests."

Lady E will be embarking on her world tour in 2021 starting in Australia, followed by New Zealand and the South Pacific before relocating to the Caribbean and Bahamas by the autumn of 2021.

Captain Charles DuGas-Standish added:

"The rebuild of Lady E was the most extensive I have been involved with during my 30-year career as a seafarer, which was only possible by partnering with a shipyard with the capabilities and resources of Pendennis."
