Following a short break to replenish after a busy summer Falmouth pub Pennycomequick is back with a new menu.

The team was very busy during the summer and with the stress of Coronavirus, the owners decided the team needed two weeks off.

Back to business now the pub revealed its new menu this week.

Honest food cooked with love, there are some eye-catching things on the menu including:

Stout Braised Oxtail Ravioli with Whipped Creme Fraiche, Jerusalem Artichoke and Crispy Chervil.

Featherblade of Beef, Butter Fondant, Pearl Barley Jus, Charred Sprouting Broccoli and Walnut Pesto.

Aubergine, Squash and Shallot Tandoori Style Curry with Sticky Rice and Poppadoms.

Co-owner James Lucky told Nub News:

"It was lovely to have a bit of a break, the summer was just a bit weird it was unbelievably busy which is fantastic but it was more trying than usual I think we were all just pretty exhausted but lovely to be back open, lovely to have people in and enjoying the place again.

"This is quite an autumnal menu with a lot of pumpkin and we will probably do another menu for Christmas time and then one more winter one and a spring menu.

"It is a pretty simple mantra we have got, it is all local everything is seasonal everything is homemade also we culture our own butter and not a lot of places do that."

Pennycomequick is open Monday, Thursday and Friday 3pm - 10pm, Saturday 12pm - 10pm and Sunday 12pm - 10pm.
