Falmouth has welcomed a fantastic range of cruise ships already this season and this is set to continue over the next three months.

In June, the town hosted one of the most prestigious and talked about cruise ships, The World.

Richard Wilcox, Executive Director of Falmouth BID, highlighted the fact that passengers on The World choose the itinerary, he said: "For her to be back in Falmouth once again is a testament to the strength of welcome she and they receive when in port."

Next up is the Silvermoon, which will be arriving in Falmouth on Friday 4 August, the luxury ship has the capacity to accommodate 596 passengers. The cruise had previously been in Falmouth on Friday 23 June.

With over 50 cruise ships visiting the town this year Richard Wilcox and Richard Gates, the town manager, have highlighted the work of A&P Falmouth and Falmouth Harbour Commissioners/Falmouth Harbour, as well as the excellent meet and greet service of the Falmouth Cruise Ship Ambassadors, a volunteer organisation who do so much to enhance the passenger experience.

You can follow the full schedule of cruise ships in Falmouth on the ambassador's website here: https://www.falmouthcsa.co.uk/schedule.shtml (There may be changes to this schedule due to weather or operational reasons).
