Falmouth has welcomed a fantastic range of cruise ships already this season and this is set to continue all summer.

There was lots going on in Falmouth over the bank holiday weekend with the town's first-ever food festival and the return of the Parklive festival. The town also received two cruise ships in the day on Monday, the AIDAura and Balmoral.

This week Falmouth will also welcome the Zuiderdam on Thursday the 1st of June and then the largest of the season MSC Virtuosa on Friday 2nd of June, which will be followed by Island Princess on the 11th of June.

On Monday the 12th of June we will also host one of the most prestigious and talked about cruise ships, The World. Richard Wilcox, Executive Director of Falmouth BID highlighted the fact that passengers on The World choose the itinerary, he said: "For her to be back in Falmouth once again is a testament to the strength of welcome she and they receive when in port."

Richard also thanked Falmouth Cruise Ships Ambassadors who give up their time freely to provide a meet and greet service for visitors.
