The latest figures for the number of people who have died due to COVID-19 in Falmouth and Penryn have been published.

They reveal that 12 people in the area fell victim to the virus between March 2020 and January 2021.

According to the Office for National Statistics (ONS), in January 2021, there was only one death in Falmouth East and one in Mabe, Constantine and Ponsanooth.

Deaths are reported by postcode area, which is why exact places are not revealed for the towns.
