Mousehole at 19/06/2019 05:25At 0026 hrs Critical Control received several 999 calls stating that there was a fire at a hotel in Mousehole. Appliances from Penzance, St Just as well as a wholetime flexi officer were mobilised. On arrival crews relayed a message that there was smoke issuing and "Make Pumps 4". A further appliance from Hayle, operational support vehicle from Falmouth and the incident control unit from St Just were mobilised. Crews used multiple breathing apparatus sets, hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. 12 guests at the hotel were evacuated safely and relocated to a neighboring hotel. The fire was contained to the kitchen area and a fire investigation team will be attending later on this morning. This is all the information we currently have at this time. Date Posted: 19/06/2019
