The Harmony Choir is back in Falmouth for the first time in three years, the tradition goes back over 100 years and will see choirs from across Cornwall come together to create festive cheer this Christmas Eve.

Anyone hoping to join the singers can meet at The Mariners Falmouth (Old Cutty Sark) from 9 am for a quick warm-up and practice at 10 am. While those that are just watching can catch the choir at the following locations as they wander through the town:

•10:30 Custom House Quay (at the top by Harbour Lights)

•11:00 Church Corner (King Charles The Martyr)

•11:50 Wilkinson's (Market Street)

•12:30 Rowes Bakery

•13:00 The Moor

The Harmoney Choir will be collecting for small local charities and carrying buckets as they travel around town so make sure to bring your pennies if you wish to donate.

Richard Gates the Town Manager explained that there will be road closures in place, he said: "The town is likely to be extremely busy and the road (Market Street through) will be closed during this time. Market Street will be closed to vehicles from 9.30 am. The Moor and High Street will close later in the morning as the choir moves through.
