Three actors from the local area have come together to create a theatrical guided pirate tour around Falmouth that will be sure to entertain the whole family.

Tony King (Captain Neverwrong) Derrick Wright (Mr Wright) and Nicky Roseland (Lady Roseland) will transform into their characters and explore Falmouth's rich maritime and pirate history.

While speaking to Tony it became clear these tours will be lots of fun, he said: "It won't be like listening to a history talk, it will be very theatrical and entertaining. We are all actors and will be in character making it fun for children and adults. We even have costumes currently being made in Britanny."

Tony has previously won awards for best support actor at the Hollywood Boulevard Film Festival, while he also featured in a film that won the best drama short at the LA Film Festival. However, some of you may have seen Tony before in various roles at the Minnack Theatre such as Lord Darlington in Oscar Wilde's play 'Lady Windermeres Fan'.

The hour-long tours will begin on the 3rd of April and will run from Thursday to Sunday four times a day, however during school holidays the tours will be on all week.

The tours will begin at the Prince of Wales Pier and they will work their way around Falmouth ending up by the Maritime Museum.

The initial times will be 11 am - 12 pm, 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm, 2 pm - 3 pm, and 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm.

Adult tickets will be £13 while child tickets will be £8.

Tony said that the link for tickets will be up within the next fortnight and there will be no booking fee for customers as they want to keep the prices down, people will also be able to book their place just before tours start rather than having to book in advance.

As well as the tours the group has also created a fictional audiobook for kids that will tell the story of pirates living in Falmouth. Part one has been released on their social media already as a taster.
