A dad from the local area has created a group named Falmouth Dads that is being used to make new friends and share ideas.

David Stringer who made the group said that dads often don't reach out for help but this could be a positive space where they can feel supported.

When sharing the group, David said: "Falmouth Dads is a new group to help dads locally connect, make dad dates, get ideas for kids and a forum for more targeted help should they may need it.

"It's been really positive so far, with dads locally connecting and sharing things to help and support others."

Many of the group members have started to share places to take the kids as well as their own hobbies and interests.

Some of the dads have also already met up for a pint at the pub and have started to make a connection.
