A local cafe run by a former pupil of Falmouth Primary has launched a new fundraising campaign - 'Books for Kids' - to help the school.
Penryn based Tuck 'n' Roll, owned by Dean Lanyon, will donate 50p from the sale of each children's meal sold to raise money for the library at Falmouth Primary.
Dean said:
"Back when I was there in the 1980s when it was the Beacon, my favourite part of the school was the library.
"Both my sons were also pupils and now my grandson is there too and also loves the library. It's been a difficult 15 months for everyone, especially for children, so I'd like to help where i can."
Dean started Tuck 'n' Roll at Falmouth Rugby Club from a van in last October last year and moved to Penryn's St Gluvias Cricket Club in January.
The cafe is open from 8am to 8pm/10-pm Monday-Sunday and they also do deliveries within 5 miles.
