David Noakes served on Falmouth Town Council for three years and once ran for the leadership of the UK Independence Party (Ukip) as well as the former Truro and St Austell MP's seat for the party. He and his ex-wife Lorraine have admitted charges relating to the manufacture, possession and sale of products including the drug
