Flushing residents are appealing for community support to get funds together to deliver hand creams to NHS staff at Falmouth Hospital.

Organised by Lucinda Parker Roberts and her mother, the money raised will be used to buy cream for NHS staff who suffer from sore hands.

Lucinda told Nub News:

"My mother and I are trying to raise funds to buy some hand creams for the NHS staff who are currently suffering from sore hands.

"Our NHS staff are working tirelessly to look after us but I have been told that due to the increase in handwashing and hand sanitizing, hands are becoming very dry and often painful.

"A Body Shop hand cream costs £5 so I am asking if anyone would like to pledge to buy a hand cream that will then be donated to one of the local NHS services nearby.

"The NHS saved my life, and they may have saved yours so it would be amazing to give back in even a small way to these amazing people who have been there for most of us over the years.

"We would love to send some support to our local hospitals and NHS staff."
