An NHS map has been launched which shows the number of coronavirus cases in your area.

Falmouth and Penryn residents can see coronavirus cases as well as the number of people who have had their symptoms assessed over the phone by NHS 111.

This is an improvement to the alternative government map which allowed residents to see coronavirus cases in their area, you can see that one here.

The coronavirus cases and telephone data are shown in a seven day period ending 7th January.

Just type in your postcode to see the latest figures.

About the map

  • Cases are a count of people who have tested positive in the selected week.
  • Telephone triages are new clinical assessments by the NHS 111 of people with potential coronavirus symptoms.
  • Fewer people were tested previously, and this may affect comparison with more recent cases.
  • "More than" and "fewer than" 3 cases is used to prevent individuals from being identified.

Cases in Falmouth and Penryn

24 cases in Falmouth East

46 cases in Falmouth West and South

23 cases in Falmouth North

25 cases in Penryn

16 cases in Mylor and Frogpool

43 cases in Ponsanooth, Mabe and Constantine

There were fewer than 3 "triages" in all Falmouth areas, Penryn, Ponsanooth, Mabe and Constantine.

Data is refreshed daily and presents the new counts of cases and triages in a given week. Therefore the figures are not cumulative.
