Windows in Falmouth are set to be transformed in a stunning Streetview Exhibition.

The Falmouth Streetview Project is being organised to 'spread some light in a dark time,' artwork will be displayed in windows around the town in an attempt to bring people together in spirit and encourage people to get creative.

A student-led project, the creators have urged people to get involved, "we need windows from all over Falmouth to exhibit local art, this could be your home, your shop, even your car window," they said.

Where did the idea come from? The group said...

"The idea was from looking at all of the lovely Christmas trees in the windows along Trelawney road in December and wanted to make use of their excellent display potential.

"I have always been interested in putting on exhibitions and events that give people a chance to come together and express themselves through their art, even though creating a show can be stressful, it's always a very rewarding process.

"At the beginning of January, I couldn't face the prospect of not having anything to work towards, not being able to go into university, or even be able to see anyone- being locked in the house again, and I knew that there were lots of other people feeling the same way."

Lily-Peach and the Street View Team believe this will be the "perfect way" to inspire people and get people to look forward to something.

They added:

"I think it's really important to bring the community together in whatever ways we can at the moment- to make everyone feel a little less isolated and hopefully create something that everyone can be proud of. We are hoping to get as many people involved as possible."
