Falmouth: Team "raring to get going" as rugby returns to The Recreation Ground

This afternoon (4th), rugby fully returns to The Recreation Ground for the first time in almost 18 months as Falmouth take on Tiverton in the Tribute Western Counties.
Team captain Tom Spiller said the team is "raring to get going" after such a long layoff due to the covid pandemic.
The game kicks off at 3pm at the rec.
The club is also having an open day which will showcase what the club has done during the pandemic and where they are going.
The clubhouse will be open from 12:30, ladies day kicks off at 2pm, followed by a club race night open to all.
Tom Spiller continued:
"With covid protocols, everyone will be having their own water bottles just as another safety precaution, everyone will be sanitising, and the boys will be doing LFTs (lateral flow tests). We are just keen to get back playing some rugby."

O.Evans, P.Egerton, R.Pugh, N.Carne, J.Wood, R.Coote, B.Duncan, T.Spiller, B.Bateson, A.Kindjarsky, T.Vincent, S.Dunstan, A.Searle, J.Martin, D.Burroughs.
