Flushing Ferry will not be running today as a result of Storm Dudley.

The start of the storms has seen ferry services cancelled around Falmouth.

It was announced this morning that Flushing Ferry and St Mawes Ferry would not be running today (16th) due to rough sea conditions.

Storm Dudley and Eunice resulted in a yellow weather warning being issued for Falmouth and Penryn this week with winds of up to 50mph expected.

Storm Eunice could see fallen trees, flying debris, large waves, and delays to public transport. It will also be accompanied by high swell and spring tides.

A spokesperson for Flushing Ferry added:

"Due to the start of storm Dudley, there will be no service today."

In an update to passengers, St Mawes Ferry stated:

"All sailings on the St Mawes Ferry have been cancelled due to the adverse sea conditions."
