The Seafood Bar, based on Quay Street, has announced it will be reopening next month offering a takeaway and delivery service.

Opening on 4th February, the hours will be reduced to 3 days a week - Thursday to Saturday 5pm till 9pm.

All alcohol is available for delivery only within a delivery radius of 3.5 miles and food can be ordered for collection or local delivery.

You can make pre-orders from 2nd February as the restaurant adjusts to the new restrictions and gets the webshop up and running.

Announced yesterday evening, The Seafood Bar said:

"We are committed to providing our service, where possible, and doing so responsibly. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

"Please be aware that our opening under these conditions is not a decision taken lightly and will be something of a trial for us for the first couple of weeks at least.

"Under normal circumstances, the vast majority of our trade is in collections (and primarily beer), and moving to deliveries almost exclusively could potentially be slightly more chaotic than we'd like, so please bear with us. I give you my word that we will always do our very best for you."
