Falmouth Nub News yesterday asked residents if they had anything they wanted to say to their postal workers.

We wanted to compile a few of our responses in an article, to show support and celebration to the people that work tirelessly to keep our country connected.

Thanks for doing a brilliant job, I know how tiring it is, was a postie years ago x

Thanks for all you do your all amazing from Penryn

A big thank you to all the posties in our area, you are all doing a great job.

Our postman Malcolm is lovely..he always asks if we are OK and if we need anything.

We have two regular posties, Robin who brings the bigger parcels and Paul who does the letters. We have thanked them and supplied them with hand gels.

Thank you posties, now more than ever.

Both our own & especially our Webber Street shop postie Steve are amazing! Thank you all.

We bought our postman "Simon" a crochet postman to say thank you he always has a smile for me, being a carer brightens my day x

Yeah, I'm sorry my Shitzu has been lunging at the letterbox but I'm home and keep forgetting to shut the kitchen door! It's the post he wants not your hand xx keep up the good work x

Malcolm is the best postman ever. I'm missing my chats with him while I'm away from home. I'll be sure to thank him on my return, hopefully very soon.

On Wednesday (28th) the country celebrated National Postal Workers Day, giving thanks to the postal workers who have been working tirelessly through these difficult times.

The day was created by the Communication Workers Union, a trade union with almost 200,000 members.

Do you have anything to say to your local postal worker? Let us know over email at [email protected], call 07380803652 or use our Nub It button.
