A brand new care service that operates exclusively to each client's needs has opened in Falmouth.

Well Care Cornwall aims to help regain and maintain their client's independence.

They offer a wide variety of services from companionship and shopping to hair cuts and nail painting.

Jacob Wells, a Falmouth resident and creator of Well Care Cornwall, was inspired to create the service after having major surgery.

"In 2019, I had major surgery and remember how daunting even attempting things by myself was," Jacob told Nub News.

"Then one evening, I turned to my wife and said 'let's bite the bullet and start a business to help others' and with some toing and froing Well Care Cornwall was born."

Well Care Cornwall started back in June and are already providing people with personalised support packages.

Jacob continued: "So many of the other care services are under immense pressure and often staff tell us they don't have enough time to provide the quality service they wish.

"Our ethos centres around putting our clients first and being able to take the time to be there for them as much as they'd like."

Well Care Cornwall aims to treat all of their clients like family and do not see themselves as a 'traditional care service'.

"Away with all the tunics and formalities," Jacob said.

"If you need a service that we don't mention on our website then let us know, we tailor all of our packages around your needs."
