It has today been announced that the market on Falmouth Moor will be returning on Saturday 6th June.

The iconic market will be hitting the street with the usual mix of fresh produce, jewellery and more.

The market and all of its traders are required to follow strict social distancing guidelines to promote the safety of everyone involved.

For now, the market will run on Saturday 9am - 5pm, if things go well the Thursday market will also see a return to the high street.

To help shop owners before their green light open date, John Spargo wrote on social media that he has also asked the council to reopen the market daily, "to give retailers the opportunity to kick start their business prior to the 15th."

Richard Gates, Town Manager, confirmed to Nub News that they are currently working on this and has sent out details regarding the use of the market in this capacity today.
