This week, Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced a three-tier lockdown system.

The restrictions came into place today.

The new three-tier system sees every area of England classed as being on medium, high or very high alert.

Falmouth & Penryn residents can now stay up to date with the rules in the area by using the GOV postcode finder, click here to use it.

As of today, Falmouth is "under Covid restrictions, but not additional local rules."

The area is in the medium alert category.
