Police are on the scene of a collision in Falmouth the this afternoon, after the towns one way system was seemingly ignored.

In pictures shared of the scene by Robin Markland, damage can be seen to both cars, who crashed into each other at the bottom of Killigrew Street, around 12pm.

Traffic is said to be getting through but very slowly at this time.

Expressing his concerns following the incident, Robin told Nub News:

"There needs to be a general improvement of signage in Falmouth, as many cars drive the wrong way each day, partly due to faded road signs."

Further information will be provided when we have it.
