Falmouth Ships & Castles swimming pool will remain closed for part of this upcoming week as repair work continues.

The pool temporarily closed recently following a flood in the plant room.

In an update, a spokesperson for Ships & Castles said the pool will stay closed until Tuesday 11th January.

However, the gym and classes remain unaffected. The leisure centre added:

"Due to the ongoing repair work after a flood in our plant room, the pool will remain closed until Tuesday 11th January. The team is busy drying out pumps and our pool engineers are doing all they can to carry out the essential repairs."
