Falmouth fire crew assists in tackling pub fire

Fire crews were tasked early this morning to a fire at a 'public house' in Helford.

Crews from Falmouth and Helston moved to the scene at 6am to tackle the incident.

A spokesperson for Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service said:

"Crews from Falmouth, Helston & a whole-time officer have attended a small fire in a Public House in the Helford area.

"Crews used Breathing Apparatus and a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire."

The fire service added:

"This is all the information we currently have."
