A Falmouth dental practise has said they are not yet ready to open despite some other practices opening up around the area today.
Smile Dentalcare Falmouth, based on Kimberley Park Road, has told patients safety is their top priority and they'll reopen as soon as it is safe to do so.
In a statement addressed to patients, they said: "We are working to get these measures implemented as quickly as we can and will be reopening once we are satisfied that we have all necessary processes and personal protective equipment (PPE) in place."
"Please do not attempt to contact the practice to make an appointment or request a start date. We will communicate to you when the practice is ready to see patients."
The practice says they should be open "in the next few weeks".
Penryn Dental Surgery today announced that it is taking emergency appointments, starting with the backlog of emergencies they had built up over the last nine weeks.
In a statement addressed to their patients, they said: " We may look a bit strange in the attire we have to use for certain procedures but don't be put off by this - we are the same people underneath."
They have also confirmed that they will release an update when they're ready to open in a more normal capacity.
