A Falmouth curry house has invited the homeless, key workers and financially vulnerable to collect a free meal on Sunday.

Balti Curries, situated on Arwenack Street, has again spoken out about wanting to give back to the community after previously giving out free meals to NHS workers.

Ram Prasard Sharma, general manager at Balti Curries, said:

"Over the twenty-two years, I have met some incredible people and made some amazing friends. I want to see your faces once more."

On Sunday 10th May at 12pm, Ram has invited NHS staff, key workers, emergency services, the homeless or people struggling financially to line up at the restaurant to receive a free meal.

"All you have to do is form a nice orderly queue on Sunday 10th May at 12.00 lunchtime where I will gift you free curry, rice and bread," Ram said.

Since the lockdown began, Balti Curries have provided over sixty free meals to members of the NHS and emergency services.
