A Truro-based craft beer shop is looking to expand its business into Falmouth by Decemeber.
Red Elephant Beer Cellar, which has just moved into new premises in Truro, says it has found a couple of possible locations to move into our town.
The beer shop just hit its £10,000 crowdfunder target, they are now asking for a 'stretch' target of £15,000 - which will go towards opening the Falmouth store.
Dom Lilly, who has run the Red Elephant Beer Cellar since February, described Falmouth as: "a town that loves craft beer with very little in the way of satisfying that thirst."
The cellar was put on shaky ground when it was forced to close its Truro branch due to the pandemic, going from 100% physical sales to 90% online sales.
Since then, Dom and the team have adapted and with the help of a successful crowdfunder, they are now moving into a new Truro property three times the size.
The cellar is offering rewards for those who donate to their cause, starting from a sponsored t-shirt to 24x cases of craft beer.
