Year 4 pupils at St Francis C of E School, Falmouth, have been told to self-isolate after a positive covid test.

This applies to the whole of the school's year group after the test was reported this morning (25th).

The school, based in Longfield, said it was in the process of making phone calls to the parents concerned and more information will follow.

A spokesperson for the school added:

"We moved back to class bubbles from Tuesday but as symptoms developed within 48 hours of the year group mixing on Monday, it will be the whole year group this time.

"We need to get the message out that these children (in year 4) must not come to school this morning."
