New Falmouth Town Council logos raise concerns.

Falmouth Town councillors were "surprised" to see the council's new logo on social media before they saw it.

Cllr Dean Evans raised the concern at a meeting of the Finance and General Purpose Committee this week, "we should see what's going on," he commented.

Jude Robinson, Committee Chair, and Town Clerk Mark Williams both agreed it was a "fair point".

Mark Williams said: "This is all part of the internal and external comms strategies. All those have been agreed and we wanted to soft test it on social media. Cllr Evans is absolutely right, councillors should have seen it first."

Cllr Spargo shared his thoughts on the re-branding: "As a communication, it was a failure."

Cllr Spargo also said there had been a mix of comments on social media to Falmouth Town Council's new branding.

As part of the new comms strategies, logos have also been updated at Falmouth Art Gallery, Falmouth Library, and Princess Pavilion.
