The U11 squad of Falmouth Community Youth Football Club was delighted to receive their team jackets kindly sponsored by Simon Lucas from Cornish Concrete Products (CCP).

The two teams Falmouth Kites and Falmouth Whitehawks both play in the Kernow Youth League and have enjoyed the return to football league matches after such a long break because of COVID.

The jackets were a welcome bonus to the children with the wet and cold weather we have experienced.

Club Chairman Janine Kennedy said:

"We are extremely grateful to Simon and everyone at CCP for sponsoring our whole U11 squad and providing them with jackets. It is such a privilege to have local businesses supporting and investing in local grassroots football clubs."

The club currently caters for over 200 children age 3 to 16 years and provides free football every Saturday morning supported by over 30 coaches and many more parent volunteers.
