Falmouth Coastguard Rescue Team were today called out to rescue a dog which had gone over a cliff.

Above Prisk Cove in Mawnan Smith, the Falmouth Coastguard team were also joined by Porthoustock Coastguard and Duty Coastal Officer S11C.

A spokesperson from Falmouth Coastguard Rescue Team said:

"On scene, specialist rope rescue equipment was used to recover the dog to safety."
