Falmouth Coastguard Rescue Team were tasked this morning (3rd) to reports of a walker who had fallen the cliff path at Pennance Point.

On scene, at around 11:10am, it was found that the man had suffered a suspected broken leg which had to be treated and he was loaded onto a stretcher.

During this operation, the team was then notified of another incident at Pendennis Point of a child casualty.

The coastguard added:

"Falmouth team members were made available if required and also our local full-time Senior Operations Officers, who were on station at the time, formed their own team and responded along with South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust, that incident was swiftly resolved."
