Agencies are working together to combat crime on Upton Slip Falmouth.

That is according to a statement from Safer Falmouth in an attempt to get control of crime and anti-social behaviour.

There have been reports of issues on Upton Slip, eyewitnesses have reported incidents on the boats at Gasworks Car Park and a "punch up" in July.

A statement from Safer Falmouth reads: "Falmouth Neighbourhood Policing Team, Cornwall Council and Falmouth Harbour have been working closely in response to the issues of crime and anti-social behaviour occurring on Upton Slip to provide a long-term solution which prevents such issues occurring in the future. A targeted multi-agency approach is ongoing to proactively disrupt individuals causing issues, and we are meeting to share information and intelligence regularly to achieve our shared objective of tackling crime and ASB in our community.

"To allow us to take further action, we are renewing our plea to residents for information; if you witness a crime or anti-social behaviour please report it either via 999 if the crime is taking place there and then, or via email to [email protected] with as much detail as possible including times, dates and descriptions of people involved. Your report will make it back to the local team and will help us take action."
