Stones Bakery, based on Falmouth High Street, has announced its closure until January due to a coronavirus case.

One of the staff members at Stones Bakery has tested positive for coronavirus.

Announcing the news on social media a spokesperson for Stones Bakery said:

"We have made the decision to temporarily close the bakery with immediate effect.

"We're desperately sorry to leave you all without your Christmas bread and mince pies but in the circumstances, it's the right thing to do.

"Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all our customers, we've really appreciated your support over the last decade but especially the last year. Lots of love from the whole Stones gang."

The bakery will be back open on Monday 4th January.
