Local coastguard rescue teams are set to feature on television this weekend.

On More4 at 9pm on Sunday (13th) members from Falmouth Coastguard Rescue Team and Porthoustock Coastguard Rescue Team will feature in a new series, Emergency Rescue: Air, Land & Sea.

A brand-new series that has had exclusive access to search and rescue helicopters, coastguard rescue teams and operations centres.

The 10-part series gives you a first-hand look at the dramatic real-life rescues carried out in the UK.

A spokesperson for Porthoustock Coastguard Rescue Team said:

"Some members of the team will feature on this program as will members of the Falmouth team. This is a great way to find out what the coastguard do and are capable of."
