There may be no such thing as a free lunch. But there is a free online fire safety awareness training course

Fal Fire is offering FREE online Level 1 course, available completely free for any business or organisation in Cornwall, until the end of May.

Staff fire awareness training is meant to be provided by all organisations so staff know how to help prevent fires and how to respond in the event of a fire situation. It covers such important areas as:

  • importance of fire safety awareness
  • the legal framework for fire safety in England & Wales
  • strategies for keeping your premises safe from fire
  • the organisation's fire safety emergency plan
  • knowing what to do if confronted with a fire
  • how to effectively call the fire service.
  • basic explanation of extinguishers

Just email [email protected] and we'll tell you how to sign up yourself/ staff / colleagues. It's on our Moodle online training platform. Its quick and easy to do, and you can do the whole course and all the questions as often as you like.

All you need is a laptop with access to the internet and you can do it from anywhere. Once you have successfully completed the course, you will get emailed your certificate.

This is not a free lunch, but it is a free course, no strings attached. Why wouldn't you take up the offer?
